This is my third day in Vancouver and it’s been pretty nonstop since I landed. I had tech yesterday morning and did some wandering around with my stage manager Monique. Then I did a story from the show at The Flame’s all-Fringe storytelling event. Really interesting, really diverse bunch of stories. Thanks again to Deb Williams and Joel Wirkkunen for having me.
Today, I’m folding programs and getting ready for opening. My opening night show is half price, so come on by – 6:45 at False Creek Community Centre.
And then at 10:00pm I’m doing the Georgia Straight’s 2-minute preview at Performance Works. Tickets are $10 and available online or at the theatre.

I’m mentioned as a performer in The Globe and Mail’s article on the Vancouver Fringe:
Hot Ticket: Vancouver Fringe
“…with the proliferation of storytelling-based podcasts such as The Moth, and more stripped-down, Web-based TV series, there is more crossover than ever between the Fringe and other media. In fact, Martin Dockery from The Moth, Canadian actress Beverley Elliott, Lesley Tsina of Community and comedy favourites Peter n’ Chris and Sam Mullins all have shows this year.”

Thank you, Scout Magazine!
SCOUT LIST | Ten Things That You Should Absolutely Do Between Now And Next Week
“The Vancouver Fringe Festival is on, bringing hundreds of ‘alternative theatre’ performances to stages across the city. We’re particularly looking forward to Lord of the Files.”

I made it into Vancouver Presents’ top 10 must-see picks for the Vancouver Fringe. Hooray!
Lord of the Files – no you didn’t read it wrong … this is not a stage version of the original William Golding classic. As knowledge workers by day in the world of high-tech, we just get this one.
